CTRL-F Finds Anything On A Page!

This next computer tip is a dandy! You can try it right now, just hold the CTRL button and press F. This will pop up a little window on the bottom of your screen that says "Find:" Simply type in the word or phrase that you are looking for and hit Next. This will automatically take you to the spot on the webpage or document that you are looking for. If that isn't exactly what you are looking for you can hit next again and it will take you to the next spot where the word or phrase is mentioned!

This is EXTREMELY useful when you are browsing large long pages or documents that could be 100s of pages in length! Go ahead and try it out, this is one tip that will save you hours and hours of time while surfing the net or working word processing software!

F1 Help

Need help?  Press the F1 button and it will open a new window providing help options.

If you are a youtube user, some thing that may help is the space bar for pause and play.

Alt F4

Pressing Alt and the F4 button will close the window or program that was opened most recently.

Scrolling On Your Laptop

A scroll trick on your Laptop. On the "touchpad" as long as your clicked on the page somewhere you can scroll up and down on the far right. Simply press down and vertically slide your finger up and down.

Space Bar

Scrolling down a page can be a hassle using the mouse, try using the space bar. Another one is using the up and down keys.

Book Marking A Favorite Site

Ctrl+b If You want to bookmark a page an easy way to do this is control and b. A side box will show up were you can name the bookmark create a folder and even tag it. Give it a try you can always hit cancel.
